Can members see or access my email address?
NO definitely not. Unless you reply to an email from another Lost School Friends member, your email is totally confidential.

If someone contacts me what is the procedure to reply?
If a member finds you on the site and sends you an email, the email is passed through Lost School Friends. This screens your email address from the member. When you receive the email, their email address will be shown to you. If you want to reply to them, simply 'Reply to Sender' in your email program. On replying your email will be shown to the member you contacted so that he/she can reply directly and not through Lost School Friends. If you receive an email and do not wish to reply you can ignore it and your email will not be revealed.

Can anybody send an email?
Only people who have registered on the Lost School Friends website can view our members lists or send an email.

How can I see a complete list of members from my own school?
Click on Search by School in the Menu in the top left hand corner of any of our web pages. Find the school and then click the 'Show Members' button. This will display all the members who are registered on that school.

How can I add myself to more than the schools I used on the registration page eg. I went to 3 secondary schools?
Click on the Your Schools button in the Menu. Then click on the appropriate 'add yourself to more schools' link.

Can any one send junk mail?
No definitely not, only registered members can send plain text emails through the Lost School Friends website and they cannot obtain your email address.

How do I contact a registered person?
Members' names have 'Contact' in blue text next to their name. Click this link and you will be taken to a page so you can write them an email message.

How do I change my email address?
Click on Your Details on the menu and you can change it and your other personal details.

How do I change my personal notes?
Click on Your Details on the menu and you can change the notes and your other personal details.

How do I get the site to remember my details so I don't have to login each time I visit the site?
On our login page there is a box you can tick if you don't want to login each time you visit the web site. We store your registration details on a cookie and when you login to LostSchoolFriends.com.au the web site will recognise you and let you straight on to the members-only areas of the site.
